Support with Employment from Tendring District Council

Tendring District Council is working in partnership on the North Essex Economic Board to ensure residents can be supported into work.  One barrier to employment can be having the right skills. This could be particularly the case for people who lost their work, or have decided to change career, as a result of Covid-19.

To tackle this barrier, the North Essex Economic Board is providing three fully-funded programmes, brief details of which are below:

Tech Talent (delivered by the Tech Talent Academy) – upskilling and re-training for people both unemployed or in work, focusing on cloud computing, software development, data science and cyber security.

Essential IT skills (delivered by We Are Digital) – remote training for residents who require help with essential IT skills, from getting online to online banking.

Employment support (delivered by Shaw Trust) – helping people into the right path with tailored training and bespoke support, including coaching, mentoring and mental health.

The flyer and poster at the links below provides more information and if you have any further questions then please contact Penny Calder at NEEB [at] braintree.gov.uk.
