Vulnerable Hotline

A message from TDC's Chief Executive

Today a hotline to support some of the most vulnerable in our communities went live. If you are a resident who needs support and is not linked in to a community group, then please call 01255 686700 – this is staffed weekdays from 9am until 4pm.

This dedicated team can support people, either by matching them up with some of the great voluntary work already taking place in the district, referring them on to the Essex Welfare Service as appropriate, or by calling in one of TDC's own community hub teams to support you.

The Community Shield is designed to help those who have been advised to isolate for 12 weeks or who do not have a support network in place to help them get essentials such as food and medicines. TDC are determined that no-one falls through the gaps and suffers in silence.
