Would you like to make a difference in Lawford?

There are over 80,000 parish councillors in England.  They work on a volunteer basis and have one main thing in common; they want to make a difference to their local community.  They bring local issues to the attention of their Parish Council and help it make decisions in the best interest of local residents.  Issues like street lighting, bin collections and many more are discussed and parish councillors can play a vital role in representing the communities they serve and improve the quality of life of local people.

Lawford Parish Council is currently looking for new people to join it in this endeavour and would be delighted to hear from you if you are interested.

If you would like an initial conversation where you can ask questions about being a Lawford parish councillor and the sorts of issues they get involved in, please call the Parish Clerk on 01206 395898.

We look forward to hearing from you.
